Photography is much more than a business to me. It is my passion! Being witness to and capturing the special moments in peoples’ lives, in creative and exciting ways, brings an immeasurable feeling of joy, happiness and satisfaction.
My name is John Brisbane. I am a full time, professional, wedding and portrait photographer and the driving force behind Bayshore Photography. My primary studio is a well equipped setup, on Georgian Bay, just north of Parry Sound. I also operate satellite studios in Parry Sound and Cambridge, Ontario, as well as in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
I love to travel and have done a diverse range of destination and travel photography in many far flung parts of our world. This growing list includes many parts of Ontario as well as in Alberta, British Columbia, Canada’s east coast, Cuba, Botswana, Chile, Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands, Kenya, Mexico, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania and Zambia.

Bayshore Photography is a professional, full service photography business specializing in wedding photography in Parry Sound, Muskoka and throughout central and southern Ontario. We are skilled and experienced, having provided wedding photography services for clients at many of the resorts and venues in the Parry Sound, Huntsville, Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Port Carling, and Algonquin Park portion of Ontario’s cottage country.
Bayshore also serves a broader geographic area. We have photographed weddings at Blue Mountain Resort in Collingwood, Horseshoe Valley Resort near Barrie, as well as at venues in Burlington, Calgary, Cambridge, Fenelon Falls, North Bay, Waterdown, Welland, Perth and further afield.
At Bayshore we go well beyond routine wedding photography. Many couples select us because they want the type of creative, unique images of the bride and groom, alone for the first time as a married couple, and with their wedding party, that have become our trademark. In creating these images we strive for a natural look and feel that captures the couples personalities and emotions in interesting settings that frequently incorporate nature and the outdoors.
